Baked Ravioli with Just 20 Minutes of Work!
Homemade lasagna is a treat, but it requires a lot of work: cooking pasta, making sauce, grating cheese, and baking.
Thatโs why Iโm sharing this Baked Ravioli recipe. Itโs a total game-changer. Itโs rich, creamy, and packed with cheese. It tastes like it came straight from a restaurant!
And the best part? Itโs easy and quick, ready in less than 20 minutes of hands-on time, and made all in one skillet. You donโt even need a separate pot to boil the ravioli since it bakes right in the same pan as everything else.
Quick Tip
If you donโt have a big, oven-safe skillet, this recipe still works! Just use a 9ร13-inch casserole dish!

Ingredients
| Ingredient | Swaps or Tips |
|---|---|
| Ravioli | Use fresh (not frozen) for best results. You can swap with beef or spinach ravioli, or even tortellini. |
| Marinara Sauce | Use a high-quality store-bought sauce (like Raoโs). Homemade sauce works too! |
| Italian Sausage | Swap with ground beef, turkey, or keep it vegetarian by skipping the meat. Use leftovers in Sausage Pasta. |
| Boursin Cheese | Ricotta or mascarpone works if you donโt have Boursin for the baked ravioli. |
| Mozzarella & Parmesan | Shred your own mozzarella for the best melt. Parmesan can be swapped with Pecorino Romano for a sharper flavor. |
Quick Tip
Boursin is available at most grocery stores. Itโs typically found in the deli section or with other cheeses. You might recognize it from this funย Carrot Cheeseball recipe!

How To Make Baked Ravioliย
- Sautรฉ: Cook onions in olive oil until golden, then add garlic just until fragrant.
- Brown the Meat: Add sausage, break it apart, and cook through. Drain excess fat.
- Build Sauce: Stir in marinara, Boursin, and seasonings. Simmer a few minutes.
- Add Ravioli: Stir fresh ravioli right into the sauce. No boiling needed!
- Top with Cheese & Bake: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Bake until bubbly and golden.
Storage
- Best Fresh: Just like my Marry Me Chicken Tortellini, Baked Ravioli shines straight out of the oven with those crispy edges.
- Fridge: Store leftovers in an airtight container for 1 to 3 days. The ravioli will soften as it soaks up sauce.
- Freezer: Not ideal for freezing. The pasta texture does not hold up well.

Baked Ravioli Tips
- Cheese Upgrade: Always shred mozzarella from a block, it melts creamier.
