The Glow Up Canned Tuna Deserves!

Avocado Tuna Salad is my go-to for a quick, flavorful lunch. Itโ€™s loaded with fresh ingredients, comes together in minutes, and always hits the spot.

I took my go-to tuna salad and added avocado. I mixed chunks into the salad and mashed some into the dressing. It makes the salad extra creamy and adds so much flavor.

And the best part? Itโ€™s as easy as opening a can of tuna and mixing everything together. Simple, fast, and downright delicious!

The mayo, mustard, and seasonings are added on top of the mixture.

  • With pita chips or crackers: Scoop it up for a fun snack or quick lunch.
  • Stuffed in an avocado: Fill an avocado half for extra creaminess.
  • With fresh veggies: Serve with cucumber slices, bell peppers, or celery.

Iโ€™m confused about the servings and nutritional information. One can of tuna has 90 calories and 20 grams of protein. Iโ€™m not sure how three are used for the recipe and it says it provides one serving yet the calories for that serving are 188 and protein 17.5 grams. Is this recipe meant to be three servings?? Please help!

    1. Chelsea says:

Hi! Thanks so much for pointing this out. The recipe uses 3 cans of tuna and should make 6 servings, not 1. It looks like the serving size and nutrition info were off and Iโ€™m updating that now. For 1 of the 6 servings, the nutrition is closer to about 273 calories and 18g protein, although exact numbers can vary based on the tuna brand and amount of mayo used. I really appreciate you catching that!

I love this so much! Itโ€™s definitely my โ€œgo toโ€ meal. I keep all the ingrediants on hand at all times now. Will not use tuna in oil though. Albacore in water is my choice and I just add a small amount of EVOO.
