Easter Pretzels are a three-ingredient winโ€”quick to make, fun to eat, and pretty enough to decorate with.

Easter Pretzels with spring-colored M&Ms pressed into them.

Easter Pretzels

I created these Peppermint Bark Pretzels, and they were an absolute hit in my house!

With Easter right around the corner, I knew I had to create a spring versionโ€”and, no surprise, theyโ€™re just as delicious and easy to make.

With only three ingredients and a couple of minutes in the oven, you can have the perfect Easter treat for guests to snack on or to add to a gift bag.

Ingredients prepped out for easy assembly.

Ingredients

Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll need to make these easy Easter Pretzels:

IngredientTip
PretzelsUse snaps or twists since they hold the chocolate best. Avoid butter-flavored pretzels.
ChocolatesUse regular Kisses, Hugs, or Rolo candies. Mix and match for variety.
M&Mโ€™sPastel works great for spring, but regular M&Mโ€™s work too.

Easter Pretzels Quick Tips

  • Line your pan: Use parchment or a silicone liner for easy removal.
  • Watch the oven: Warm just until softโ€”donโ€™t let the chocolate melt too much.
  • Move fast: Press M&Mโ€™s in before the chocolate sets.
  • Donโ€™t stress the look: Hugs have a tendency to melt unevenly, but they still taste great. Adjust time or temp if needed.
Simple three ingredient treat.

Easter Pretzel Serving Ideas

  • Use as edible decor on dessert trays or charcuterie boards.
  • Use to decorate a cake or cupcakes as cute toppers.
  • Serve in a candy dish or mason jar for a grab-and-go treat.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 30 pretzels snaps or twists
  • 30 unwrapped chocolate candies Hersheyโ€™s kisses, Hersheyโ€™s Hugs, or Rolos (or a combination of the 3!)
  • 30 M&Mโ€™s pastel/Easter colors

Instructionsย

  • Preheat oven to 250ยฐF. Line one large, or two smaller, sheet pans with a silicone liner or parchment paper. (Donโ€™t skip lining the pan!)
  • Lay the pretzels out on the sheet pan. Place an unwrapped chocolate kiss, hug, or Rolo on top of each pretzel. Bake for 2โ€“4 minutes (see note 1) or until the chocolates are soft but not melted.
  • Immediately out of the oven, press an M&M on the top of each chocolate.
  • Let candies stand at room temperature for about 1 hour or until chocolate is hardened and candies can easily be picked up from the tray. (Place in the fridge to speed up the process; I actually like these best chilled and straight from the fridge!)
Final step! Please let us know how it was by leaving a review.

Recipe Notes

Note 1: If the chocolate is crumbling, it means the oven was too hot or the chocolate was baked too long. If the M&Mโ€™s wonโ€™t press in nicely, the oven was too cool or chocolate wasnโ€™t baked long enough. I recommend baking 1 Easter Pretzel first to test since there is a lot of variance with ovens. Do not use convection oven settings.
Storage: Keep leftovers in an airtight container at room temp for up to 3 days. For longer storage, keep them in the fridge or freezer.

Why would you leave the wrapper on when adding to the oven. Does not make any sense to me. I would think to unwrap the chocolate before putting on top of pretzel so it will stick to the pretzel and m&m will stick chocolate kiss. Please response because I would like to make them for Easter. Thank you.

You need to unwrap them; it says โ€œunwrappedโ€ in the ingredient list and the instructions
