Halloween Treat Bag Notes
- Each bag has its own printable page, so you only print what you need.
- For the best quality, print the bag toppers on glossy cardstockโemail the PDFs to Staples or Office Max for professional printing.
- Use a paper cutter and scoring board for easy cutting and folding.
- I prefer Zip-loc snack-size bags for their look, but any snack-size bag works.
- Important: Save the file to your computer before printingโdonโt print directly from the website. If you run into issues, try a different browser or email me!

Halloween Treat Bags: โGoblin Goodiesโ
Supplies:

- Goblinโs Goodies (Recipe below; this Muddy Buddies recipe with M&Ms and Chocolate-Covered Monster Pretzels!)
Fill up the snack-sized bags with the โGoblin Goodiesโ. Cut out, score, and fold the printable over the candy filled bag. Staple each side and these are ready to gift!
Goblinโs Goodies (Halloween Muddie Buddies)

Equipment
- Resealable plastic bag 1 gallon-sized and 12 snack-sized
Ingredients
- 9 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips or semisweet chocolate chips, I like Guittard or Ghirardelli
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1-1/2 cups M&Mโs I used green and blue
- 1/2 cup chocolate-covered pretzels
- Candy eyeballs optional, for pretzel monsters
- Chocolate melted; optional, for pretzel monsters
Instructionsย
- Add cereal to a large bowl; set aside.
- In a large microwave safe bowl, combine peanut butter, chocolate chips, and butter. Microwave in bursts of 15 seconds, stirring between each burst for 15 seconds, until mixture is melted and smooth. Add vanilla and salt. Pour over the prepared cereal. Stir well until cereal is evenly coated.
- Pour cereal mixture into a gallon-sized resealable plastic bag and pour the powdered sugar over it. Seal and shake until cereal is evenly coated.
- Transfer to a large bowl and stir in M&Mโs. Separate into even amounts in snack-sized resealable plastic bags.
- If desired, make pretzel monsters by melting chocolate and attaching candy eyeballs to the pretzels with the melted chocolate. Let dry completely, then add a few pretzel monsters to individual bags.

Fill up the snack-sized bags with pumpkin patch pieces. Cut out, score, and fold the printable over the candy filled bag. Staple each side and these are ready to gift! *Even though the bag is sealed, donโt package these more than 1-2 days before gifting to keep that at maximum freshness.
