My Kidsโ New Favorite Tradition!
Move over, Cut Out Sugar Cookiesโฆ decorating these cute Reindeer Cookies is way more fun. Iโm serious, once you start piping on those little antlers and candy noses, itโs impossible not to smile.
And who can resist a good chocolate cookie?! Theyโre the best. My son would absolutely disagree though. Heโs firmly on Team Soft Sugar Cookies and reminds me every time I bake a batch. Meanwhile, Iโm always going to lean chocolate. Itโs just who I am.
These Reindeer Cookies quickly became a new favorite because theyโre not just festive, theyโre such a blast to make. My kids crowd around the counter waiting to decide whose reindeer looks the silliest, and honestly, I love the decorating part just as much as they do. And bonus: theyโre incredibly delicious too.

Reindeer Cookie Ingredients
| Ingredient | What It Does |
|---|---|
| Chocolate cookies | Pick classic, brownie, or caramel from the recipe or grab store-bought cookies or dough. |
| Chocolate frosting | Homemade or store-bought both work great. Use whatever is easiest. |
| Pretzel twists | These make the reindeer antlers. |
| Vanilla wafers | The perfect little base for the reindeer face. |
| Edible candy eyes | Easy to find in most baking aisles or online. |
| Red candies | I use M&Mโs, but any small red chocolate candy works for the nose. |

- Decoration timing: If possible, add the pretzels and wafers close to the time of serving to maintain their crunch.
