The Mix I Could Snack On Foreverโฆ
โฆand never get tired of! Ever since I was little, Iโve been obsessed with trail mix! Honestly, between granola and a good trail mix, I could live on just those two snacks for weeks!
I love the balance of salty and sweet, lots of crunch, and just enough chocolate mixed in. This recipe has all of that! Since I make trail mix all the time, Iโm also sharing a few of my favorite variations along with my go-to version.
Making your own trail mix saves money and lets you skip all the things you donโt actually want. No more picking around raisins or ending up with the leftover pieces no one eats!
Whenever I make this trail mix recipe, I like to make a huge batch and divide it into bags or containers. I keep one out and freeze the rest so it stays crisp and fresh for months.

Ingredients In My Trail Mix Recipe
| Ingredient | Letโs Chat About It |
|---|---|
| Roasted peanuts, almonds, & cashews | Use roasted and salted nuts for the best flavor and crunch. For a sweeter trail mix, try honey-roasted nuts. |
| Raisins | Raisins add chewiness and sweetness. Swap for dried cranberries or cherries if preferred. |
| Mini M&Mโs | Mini candies mix in better throughout the trail mix, but regular-sized M&Mโs work too! |
| Optional add-ins | Try pretzels, coconut chips, banana chips, dried mango, chocolate chips, vanilla yogurt raisins, or peanut butter baking chips for easy variations. |

Quick Tip
This Trail Mix Recipe is perfect for travel! If youโll be out in the heat, skip chocolate or yogurt-covered pieces since they melt easily. Stick with non-melting add-ins instead.

Trail Mix Recipe Variations

| Peanut Loverโs | Peanuts, pretzels, peanut butter chips, Reeseโs Pieces | Chocolate chips, mini Reeseโs Cups, white chocolate chips |
